A lawyer, management graduate, and IIT-Delhi alumnus who served as vice-chairman of Cairn Energy, Chief Umesh Kuman Baveja started his career as a consultant at A F Ferguson & Co in the year 1986 and made his way up to being a Vice-Chairman at Cairn Energy Developments Pte Limited, Singapore.
